Celebrating 50 Years Providing Personalized Dental Care

Personalized Dental Care: One Size Does Not Fit All

Personalized dental care involves creating highly personalized treatment plans that extend beyond routine procedures to address the specific needs and desires of each patient.
This approach focuses on customizing dental solutions to match individual oral health conditions, aesthetic objectives, and personal comfort preferences.
One size does not fit all Nor does one approach. Everyone is an individual and is treated accordingly when they come to see us for care.

Where it all Began

I remember anxiously waiting for the mail in July 1975, hoping to receive my license, which would allow me to start my practice. I was working for Dr. David Nutkin, who was in practice for about ten years in 1975. He had a modest office and was one of the nicest and sweetest people that I knew. He was willing to share his office with a very young recent graduate to create something special for both of us. Unfortunately, I lost him about two decades ago, but along the way, we had three offices and a group of four dentists who served the greater Cleveland area.

A Recent Example

Let me tell you about a patient that I saw today.
She came to me a couple of months ago at her daughter’s urging. That daughter works as the local representative of an implant company. She had heard me give a lecture and decided that her mother should come to see me. Her mouth was filled with broken teeth, and she knew that she was headed for a denture but was afraid of the denture falling out and impairing her speech and chewing. She was also never going to walk around without teeth during a healing stage.

What I Mean by Personalized Dental Care

Many patients come in and are in the same dental state as her.
Two people can walk through the door with the same number of broken and hopelessly decayed teeth, yet leave my office with two different tailored approaches. I have patients who walk around for many months with no teeth and are not the least bit concerned with cosmetics or impaired chewing. Others want everything done in one day, while still others think the all-in-one-day approach is too drastic, and a compromise in the middle is the correct approach.

As I mentioned, two people can walk in the door with the same diagnosis and even prognosis, but how they travel along the road is customized to each patient. The state of the diseased teeth and their location will determine the order in which I treat them, and can often be used to emphasize their cosmetics to their satisfaction.

With my patient today using a computer-generated guide for precision implant placement and patient comfort, I left all her cosmetic teeth in place, while the implants that I placed will become part of her. She left the office feeling great, and I will remove the rest of her non-essential teeth slowly and easily over the upcoming weeks to make her entire experience a pleasant one as we lead up to her new smile.

Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence

Yes, dentistry has undergone significant changes since 1975, but my philosophy and approach have remained unchanged.

I want to do something unique in this special month, as I celebrate 50 years of providing personalized dental care and helping so many nice people achieve a healthy and pleasing dentition.
We are offering a $500 fee reduction on every treatment exceeding $2,900. For every case exceeding $5,900, we will increase the amount to $1,000.

As a special bonus, a husband and wife can combine their treatments to reach this goal more easily.
If you’re waiting for the right moment to treat your teeth, there’s no better time.

Please call us at 440.951.7856 and let’s explore it together. I look forward to meeting you.
